The American Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association is pleased to announce the availability of two AHPBA Research Awards, an AHPBA Physiology/Biology Research Grant, supported by Ethicon, Inc. and an AHPBA Oncology Research Grant, supported by Sanofi Aventis. The purpose of these awards is to provide the opportunity for a resident or fellow to spend one to two years in full-time research in the laboratory of an AHPBA member. Residents or fellows who have completed at least two years of post-graduate training in a surgical discipline are eligible to apply. The research can be clinical or basic science but must focus on the liver, pancreas, or biliary tree. The amount of the awards is $30,000 each.
